Delivery of results
Results are delivered by email. Delivery within 3 business days from receipt of the sample at our laboratory.
What does a positive result mean?
If the result is positive, confirming the presence of semen in the sample, a DNA test can subsequently be performed to identify the genetic profile of the person to whom the biological remains belong. This allows us to verify whether this profile matches that of a specific individual.

Object of study
What will you discover with the test?
The purpose of the PSA screening test is to identify the presence of semen.
Our laboratory analyzes the presence of semen by detecting prostate-specific antigen (PSA), a glycoprotein produced specifically by the prostate gland and considered a specific marker for the presence of seminal fluid .
