Alternative samples :

We refer to alternative samples as those obtained using a non-standard method (buccal swab). In this case, it is advisable to provide one of the following samples: toothbrush, gum, cigarette butt, fingernails (minimum 3), hairs with roots (minimum 12), blood stain, or handkerchief. Obtaining DNA from these types of samples is more expensive, and for this reason, a supplement is added to the cost of the paternity test. If you are unsure about the viability of your sample, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The results are completely confidential and reliable:

  • If the result is negative, the possibility of the father being suspected is ruled out with 100% confidence.
  • If it is positive, it is assured with 99.99% reliability that it is a father-son relationship.

The analysis is carried out in the DNA Institute laboratory, which has ISO 9001 accreditation.
